Grossinger Motors Arena along with Jade Presents is pleased to announce the first annual Bloomington Bacon & Beer Festival! Featuring thousands of pounds of bacon and kegs full of mouth-watering suds, this event brings together bacon-inspired samples made by local restaurants and over 100 craft beers from local and national breweries. All samples are included in the price of admission and all attendees will also receive a complimentary event pint glass at the end of the night.
“The focus of this event is to be a culinary experience for each patron and we encourage the chefs and brewers to get as creative as possible with their samplings,” said Courtney Ficek, Director of National Events for Jade Presents.
Along with an atmosphere of gluttonous fun, patrons will have access to a variety of entertainment at the festival including games, live music, and a bacon-eating contest.The night will be capped off with awards for “Best Bacon Dish” and “Best Brewery.”
Whether you are a bacon and beer connoisseur, or you consider yourself a rookie, the festival’s mission is to educate, recognize and provide a wide range of activities for all things suds and swine in Bloomington.
